I have a 1996 Windstar, 3.8L V6, manual A/C. I started running the air conditioner this week and now the carpet is getting wet. My recollection is that there is a drain for the evaporator core. But I can't find it to unplug it. I have vehicle on jackstands and from underneath I can't find anything that looks like a drain. Please advise on location or if problem may be something else. Thanks

 

I thought I would share my solution. The drain for the a/c evaporator is on the firewall a little bit below where the a/c lines for the evaporator go through the firewall. On my van it is hard to see unless the large fresh air duct is removed. I blew out the drain with compressed air and its OK now.
