My daughter hasa 97 Windstar the tranny wouldn't shift out of first gear but still had rev. Went to pick it up had first gear for about 10 mins. then no gears at all. Charged the batt. over night started it had first & Rev, for about 1 min.then nothing. The fluid is bright clear red and no burn smell. Been on line looking up used trannys and been getting something about a tranny computer. Before I sink money into this I need some ideas.
