2001 windstar Intake Air temperature location

2001 windstar Intake Air temperature location
Where is the Intake Air Temperature located on a 3.8 liter 2001 ford windstar?
I have looked at the Mass Air Flow sensor itself and I do not see anything that resembles the Intake Air Sensor.
Is it actually located in the Air filter holder housing on the drivers side of the vehicle or is it part of the Mass Air Flow sensor.
After further investigation I located the air intake sensor on the air filter housing. It has some torx heads holding it in place with a security head so you need a special torx bit to remove it. I am beginning to think that this is a dealer only item and not something I can order at the locale parts store.
There are several different part # on it.
