I've recently aquired a 97 aerostar that I'm tidying up to use as my daily driver, and was wondering exactly how similar the aerostar and windstar are.

I'm going to college to become an auto tech, and they have a windstar (not sure what year)that they are going to crush and I've got the oppurtunity to raid it for any parts I need. So I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not the throttle cables, carpets, and door panels were the same or not. Any help is greatly appreciated!

 

Aerostar was rear wheel drive, Windstar front wheel drive
