I just found this out last night when I had to drive 2 friends to the ER last night. And extra 2 extra family members had to come. Since I got the van on Aug 3rd the bench seat back was down and I had no reason the put the bench seat back up right until last night. I needed the bench seat and the back of the seat would only come half way up. I had to guys pushing the back up from the sliding doors and I was pulling the lever from the tailgate side and 1 more guy was pulling the back up from the tailgate side also. With 3 strong guys, 2 pushing and 1 pulling. The back of the seat just won't come up past half way. This is my 3rd minivan that I have owned in a 10 year span and I have never had this kind of a problem with the bench seat back before. I am stumped.

You have a lever on the back right side that has to be lifted in order that the seat will open fully.
