Need some suggestion. Have 1996 3.8 Windstar with what sounds like a rattle that only happens when the airconditioner compressor is engaged. Took a piece of pipe and used it like a stethascope and the sound is loudest at the belt tensioner. Belt appears to be running true and is less than a year old. My guess is that the added load on the belt is causing the tensioner to make the nosie but that is just a guess.
