on my 99 windstar the sensors on the back bumper do not work. the off button on the dashboard is always lit even when in drive. I have taken the plug on the bumper apart and cleaned that all out but still nothing. when you push the button it just blinks. my mechanic said that all the sensors are receiving power but he doesn't know anymore than that. my ford dealer said to clean the plug and if that did not fix it than he would be more than happy to find the problem for a mere $100 an hour, so that is out of the question. I have checked the fuse at it was fine and i even replaced it just to be on the safe side. can anyone help. I really liked this feature when it was working.
