Default two questions from an nonmechanically inclined individual

2002 Windstar LX

the post the rear wiper blade assembly is on is stripped, does anyone know if this is easy to fix, how to fix it? do i need an entire new motor? help, i would love to fix it for my wife. and how the heck do i change the plugs and wires on the back side of the motor?

If the arm and shaft aredamaged, as a low cost first attempt you might try and cut a small cleankeyway/slot into the wiper arm and shaft and install/press a key or pin to lock the arm position to the shaft.. Die grinder or dremmel can make an easy keyway/rounded slot for a pin/s..


Lifting the van makes for better access to the rear bank of cylinders plugs..
