Default Where is MAF Sensor located???

I have a 2002 For Windstar and is throwing a P0171 and a P0174 Code. Upon further investigation on the internet I am leaning towards the MAF Sensor being dirty (I hope). I seen one on Orielly's website but unsure of where to start my search. I am thinking that it might be around where the clean air gets in but unsure. Has anyone got an idea on where I might begin to look for this. Also has anyone encountered these codes before and what did they find out?

PLEASE HELP

Hello and good day:

I would highly suggest you go to these Links: http://www.berrysweb.com/clean_your_maf.htm And this one too http://www.aa1car.com/library/ford_lean_codes.htm

It is located in the rubber corrugated tube leading from the air cleaner round box to the Throttle Body. If you go toabove links it has photos that details what it looks like.
Good luck and good repairing....

I found it and Cleaned it. So far so Good. Hopefully that is what was wrong. It really did not look dirty but it did not look like it would have taken too much to get it dirty. Lets hope that it fixed it.

Thnak again.
