It is a 1953 Mercury 2dr Hard Top model B60 coupe. It was built in the Los Angeles plant in 53.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
1986 Lincoln roller motor converted to carberation and mechanical fuel pump. The car was a factory Merc-A-Matic that has been swapped out with a 1991 Thunderbird AOD thansmission connected to a 9" Ford read end with 2.91 gears. Electrical has been converted to 12 volts.
Suspension Modifications:
De Arched the rear springs and added 3" lowering blocks. Installed 1990 Aerostar coils in the front and KYB gas shocks all around.
Added a 1973 dual diaphram power brake booster and matching master cylinder along with self adjusting brake kits on all four drum brakes.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Stock rims with 215 X 75 R15 tires on the rear and 205 X 70 R15 tires on the front
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
None at this time.
Future Modifications:
Power steering, Lincoln door buttons, louvered hood, new paint job and re chrome some parts.
