edge backseat

new to the forum and dont ream me b/c of the name, i own a dodge and a ford but if i develop a new name for all the forums im part of ill lose my mind...anywho. Alright, heres the problem i have, i just bought an 03 ford ranger edge ext. cab stepside bed. it has no rear seats. the area would seats would be mounted has storage areas. these storage areas are not the same as the areas seats are stored in in the edges that have rear seats. So, my question is, will the backseat my neighbor gave me out of his 03 ranger (not an edge) mount somehow in the back area of my edge? will there be any drilling, cutting, welding necessary is what im asking? thanks in advance.

I would have to say so.I would pull up the carpet and see if the mounting holes are there first.

i checked the bottom of my floorboard and there are holes that go straight through the body and out the bottom....these holes are not threaded....do i need to thread these holes or do i use a bolt nut combination?

• washer's
  
• lock washer's and nut's
