Mystery Bolt - AC Manifold
So, I'm super excited to have found the source of my r134 leak, and super stumped because I have no idea what this bolt is even called!
The suction/discharge lines connect to the compressor via a single block of aluminum manifold with one bold in the middle to seal up the two o-rings.
On the side of this manifold is some sort of brass bolt (for draining? adding oil? it's purpose escapes me). Regardless, refrigerant is slowly bubbling out from the center of this bolt.
What is this bolt called? What's it's purpose? Can I get a replacement?

not sure it's purpose either. Do you see a high pressure relief valve on the compressor?
You probably into a new suction/discharge hose as the proper way to fix it. Probably $100. The leak is on the high pressure discharge side so normal operating pressures are 190 to 250 psi with hp relief at 450 range...so don't monkey around...fix it correctly.
