Default need help locating ignition module

I HAVE A 96 EB FORD EXPLORER THAT I AM HAVING ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS WITH. I HAVE TRIED CHECKING MY COILS FOR RESISTANCE BUT WAS TOLD THAT I SHOULD CHECK THE IGNITION MUDLE TO SEE IF THE COILS ARE GETTING ANY JUICE, BUT IT IS NOT WHERE IT SAYS IN THE BOOK, CAN ANYONE DIRECT ME TO THE LOCATION? HAVE NOT HAD TRANSPORTATION NOW FOR OVER A WEEK AND AM LOOSING MY MIND, AM NOT A MCHANIC BUT AM MECHANICALLY INCLINED. ANY HELP WOULD BE SO EVER GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Default RE: need help locating ignition module

PCM fires the coils, no ignition module.. If it's not firing it could be a possible failing crank sensor.. Any CEL?
