Default 98 ford escort ignition ciol need help locating for tachometer

can anyone tell me the location of the coil on a 98 ford escort lx. sohc . SPI. im trying to hook up a tachometer and i cant find the coil
respond asap, with a pic or knowledge of the location.

This engine has a coil pack and is a distributorless ignition.. Follow the spark plug wires on up to the coil pack.. Here's a pic of what the pack looks like.. Also, with DIS you'll need a tach adapter to use a conventional tach.. Here's a link to a sample adapter.. There are many vendors that sell them.. eBay ect as well..
