I need to locate a pulley for a power steering pump on my 1974 E-100 w/302 engine. I have been unable to find the pulley. It is a single groove pulley and looks like it would be fairly common. Problem is I do not know what other years and models of fords I can search to locate a pulley that will work for me. I come up empty when I search for 74 E-100. I am hoping someone here can tell what to search for or know a part number that will help me to find a similar pulley. Any help from this forum would be greatly appreciated.

 

you might try a salvage yard and just get the pump assembly with the pulley on it those are common most people don't know that those pulleys are pressed on and off so it doesn't have to be just for a 302 try looking up power steering pumps and pulleys the next time you go searching the web. good luck to you and let us know how it goes.

 

I have located the part. Found a couple of them. I found a post from an extensive google search which listed nearly all of the different pulleys for Ford mustangs, fairlanes, etc. I was able to determine the part number for the pulley I needed. "AF" Then I located a couple people who were selling similar pulleys on ebay and asked them if they had the one I needed. Turned out they did. So the search is done. Like I said I have an extra so if anyone who reads this post is also looking for an AF pulley, reply. Thanks for the response.
