Pcv valve is OK I have bought a new one. The vacuum line that goes to the breather doesn't have but barely any vacuum so I re-routed it to the tree off the intake. But I am still lossing a lot of oil. Like a qt a day and not burning it at all? I am getting to be at wits end

Are you actually getting a quart of oil out of the dipstick tube? Or are you loosing up to a quart of oil and SOME is coming out of the dipstick tube?
If you have a good WORKING catalytic converter, you normally will not see any smoke from burning oil.
I would put a vacuum gauge between your PCV valve and the vacuum port that it's connected to. Then see what reading your vacuum reading is. Your intake vacuum at idle should be steady between 16 and 22 inches Hg (Mercury).
