I have a 97 250 HD 4x4 with the 7.3 diesel. It has the 8 lug wheels. All is stock. I just replaced the front springs with stock springs. NO LIFT. Having lots of trouble finding the proper shocks for this truck. Been round and round with 4 Wheel Parts store giving me the wrong shocks 2 times already. Now I have what might be the right shock but am not sure. My issue is that there seems to only be about 3 fingers width of COMPRESSION travel left on the FRONT shocks once installed and just sitting in the driveway. This does not seem like enough travel. Can anyone tell me if this seems correct?
