Default Sensor checking 7.3 Ltr

1999 7.3, 2WD, 6 Speed
There are several sensors on board (temperature, MAP, pressures and so on)
Is there a testing procedure for each of these?
I'd like to verify that they are all working.
Thank you.
Eric

Depends..

Some can be checked/probed and the data values checked with a DVOM. Generally, if out of spec. or fault the CEL will set. Hopefully A scan tool that can access the PID's (Parameter ID's or Parameter Information Display) to check the component parameters-data/values/voltages, live data/watch the overall ranges, in/outputs etc. is better and usually quicker diagnostics since some components rely on, or in part with communication..
