I have a 1995 Aspire. I just changed spark plugs. The old ones sal "SPLIT" on them. Are these OEM plugs? If not where did they come from? The car has 160,000 miles on it, and I am wondering if these are the original plugs.

The reason I changed the plugs is that the car suddenly refuses to start. Turns over, but no action. It did this two weeks ago, and it started with a push. Then it worked fine until today. Drove to work in the morning. Then it wouldn't start at lunchtime. Only difference between start and no-start I can think of is temperature. I keep it in the garage, so it starts in the morning. At work it sits out in the cold. I changed the plugs because it turns over fine and I can smell gas, but it won't catch.

Any ideas?
