Is there power distribution at all the fuses that provide circuit protections to the features that are now non op?
The hazard, sounds as if the switch isn't canceling..

there is power to all the fuses and to both sides of the blower circuit breaker. the previous owner must have had problems he bypassed the whole circuit and ran a hot wire to the fan. i would like to fix it right as soon as i find where the resisters and relays are and how to get to them. i am trying to get to the switch connection but haven't figured out how to get the switch out.

It’s in the dash fuse box (STOP) 15 amp.
There’s other circuits protected on the fuse like ABS, Stop lights, Coutesy Lamps, Shift Lock, Engine Control, so if only the Horn is out, it could be the Horn Relay, the Clock Spring, or the buttons. The S/W buttons through the clock spring supply the grounding for the Horn Relay..

The Horn Relay is behind the I/P at the L/H cowl

Default Hazard won't shut off

Found the relays. Great place to put them. The relay is full of green crusties so cleaned them and put a new used relay in it didn't help. I figured out how to unplug the fan switch and now I just need to take the switch out to test the switch itself. Trying to be gentle so nothing gets broken. As for the horn I think I need to take the steering wheel off after I get the rest fixed and put together again. I also need to clean out the car it is full of dog hair and cigarette butts, just nasty.

fixed the hazards. while i had the clock sprong off i cleaned all the dog hare out and the spilled soda pop.the wire from the airbag to the clockspring is broken. seems like the only place to get another clockspring and wire is the wrecking yard. i need to get to the horn relay and i guess it is behind the instrument panel. why do they bury them in the oddest places. you have to take the battery and the overflow bottle and windshield fluid bottle out to get to the fan relay, really smooth ford.

i pulled up on the oh crap handle and it didn't even slow me down. the top end is cleaned out now,i just need new cables i think. i have to climb underneath to find out. maybe tomorrow i will jack it up and find out, maybe it is out of adjustment. the blower fan works now,it was a bad relay and switch, and the headlights work, but one side is dim, probably bad bulb. the only thing that still doesn't work is the horn and the oh crap brakes.

If it will save you some time , the light that is dim most likely has a poor ground connection and it could be in the wire that supplies the ground for that light or maybe just a poor connection in the plug for that light.
