I have a 2014 f250 king ranch and the amp went out for the second time, the 1st time last year the only one they could get was off ebay and now it's out again with only the door chimes working. The radio shows audio off and won't let it turn on. What are my options without tracking down a factory amp?

When it went out the first time the head unit was upgraded to sync 3 and a part behind it was replaced also. I would like to keep the factory chimes but am also over it with what it cost last year to fix the problem.

 

Not sure of exact set up in your vehicle, but the factory radio is one of the modules in the CAN (Controller Area Network ).
If something was changed that was not compatible with the CAN system , it can cause network communication problems.
