I have a 1993 F-150 Super Cab 4x4 5.0L 74,785 miles. I know the truck is worth more than what book is but not sure of a fair purchase price. Wondering what you all think. Little history on the truck it was a one owner until I purchased it about 6 months ago. The previous owner go sound for the winter and truck is stored inside garage in North Dakota. When I purchased it from him I asked how the 4x4 and he never had it in 4x4. Said he has done all scheduled work at a certified Ford Dealer. I bought the truck for my son. Few months and he was involved in an accident. It wasn't a lot of damage however they did total it. I bought the truck back and had it fixed and looks great. Everything work and no know issues. Just now sure with a salvage title what it would be worth. I was hoping for $7500 and have been offered $6000. Top two are current photos and bottom one is the damage that I had fixed.
The salvage title is a stain on possible future resales to some, but for someone wanting to drive the wheels off of it probably wouldn’t care. And, the damage was light as noted . I’ve owned that exact platform and have worked on more of them than I can count.
Great trucks, simple to work on and very reliable well built trucks.
If your not in a huge rush to sell, hold out for a bit. It’s fairly rare to see that vintage, in that shape, with low miles. I’d think a buyer would reach that price or close, but again, some will be spooked on the salvage report. But even if driven years more, the salvage title wouldn’t be a huge deal when the trucks value drops off normally due to age and mileage increases. The other thing about salvage is most lenders won’t finance a salvaged vehicle. Probably wouldn’t be a financed purchase, but even a personal/family loan etc may raise an eyebrow.
What’s the interior look like?
But my .02, a very nice truck, and given the values SC, CC’s 4x4’s command today, a thousand or so wouldn’t be an over reach.

Your truck would have to be ten years newer in great shape to fetch $7500.As it stands with the salvage title, $1500 tops.
Old F150 trucks are not like a vintage two door coupe, they are plentiful and not worth much.
I have an old 61 Rambler Classic 4dr.six. Owned it for decades...
Not really popular (today or back in the day !), not exactly a collectable either.. Yet,, at a meager 90k originals on the clock, beautiful stock condition. I've been offered 3 times what it sold for brand new...
I've built plenty of salvaged and revived abandoned cars and trucks,, much more than I am years old, and salvage or vintage wouldn't bother me 'if' it was something I 'really' had interest in, and the work performed was quality. Of course price comes into play.....
Value,, guess that would be like beauty and the eye of beholder.. Would I pay 3 times the new price for a Rambler?, no, but someone wanted to.....
I actually had people fighting over it once I listed it. Has over 65 calls & Texts within the first hour. I was asking $7500 and did end up getting full asking price. I did have one guy that said he would give me $8,000 if I would hold it for him until he got back to town but opted to sell as first come with money in hand.
Those Ol early early 90’s were nice old rigs. Simple, reliable, and the styling was done well and timeless. I’ve worked on so many of those I can’t even count. I’ve owned a few as well.
Low mileage, that color option, extended cab, and even with the salvage title I could see it getting snatched up..

I bet most of those texts were scammers, seen it many times. Same with the guy offer 8k sight unseen. There's a sucker born every minute.
This is a decent price for the car I think. There are not so many models in such a good condition which you can find on the market. I have even seen this model being sold for a lower price onhttps://www.truckexporter.co.uk/prod...s-for-sale-uk/, there is a very big amount of cars, and you can find of any kind. I am not a fan of buying new cars, I prefer to buy used because the difference in price is huge, and you lose nothing if the car is good anyway.
