Default 1976 Xc Ford falcon Ute headlight switch schematic.

I don’t know if this is the right place to post this but I am looking to find out what pin does what on the headlight switch to my Xc.
trying to do some wiring stuff.

You might need to check the plug terminals , first for power, then insert the lite stick and see which terminals on the switch connect to the terminal that rec'd the power.

You might be able to install the plug onto the switch, install the stick and back probe the wires going into the plug with a test light and you should be able to determine which positions send power to which wires on the plug..
You should have power coming into the plug, power going to the parking and tail lights with the stick half way out , then stick all the way out power to the headlight dimmer switch , then to the headlamps. Of course the parking and tail lamp wires should have power to them in both positions.
