Picked up a 62 galaxie 500 XL 352 2 months ago. Heard squealing at start up for about 20 seconds, then it started stuttering at higher RPM's and it progressively got worse over 2 days until it wont even start. Replaced plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, condensor, points, rebuilt carb, replaced fuel pump and put in a rebuilt distributor. It turns over, and sounds like it wants to start, but it still wont fire. The only thing I can think is the timing is off, but I can't get it to start to adjust. I'm a novice, so any idea's on how to get it to run?
