Angry Crooked shackles. WTF

Hi all. Im new here. Heres the gig. I have a 70 torino gt fast back. I have just put in new leaf springs and shackles. Apon compleation, I found the shackles crooked. Mostly on the passenger side.
Everything seems to be seated fine. Or is this something the shocks help keep in line also? I do not have them hooked up as of yet. Seems like alot to ask of the shocks. Any help would be great..

Are the center bolts of the springs indexed in the proper holes of the part the spring sits on? Those holes are either on the differential housing or blocks.

Can you clarify something for me? When you state the shackles are crooked I'm not clear exactly how you mean that.
Something to consider and I don't know if applies here.
Are the springs exactly the same? Are the leafs all lined up and were both springs with the same amount of curvature?
My questions seem dumb even to me because I do not fully understand which way crooked is. How about helping me !

Hi. The leaf are a 4leaf stack. Same length and same curve. What I mean by crooked shackles is this.. after putting everything together. I find my shackle on the passenger side is "tilted" to the right. Mostley the bottom side. I have checked and rechecked measurements. Let me know what ya think and would a pic help

Feel better soon !
Been trying to come up with why one shackle would be out of line. Here are some of the questions I came up with.
On assembly did you tighten everything on the driver's side up first , then the passenger side?
Could the springs have a right and left side application?
My thought was if the center bolts are not quite in the center of the spring and they were meant for a particular side , then the last spring assembled might be way out of line.
Of course they could have given you the wrong springs too.
