I would think condition comes into the picture, but there are other folks on this forum that have a lot more experience on these things and would hope they can be more helpful, sorry !

so i would be upside down on it. but got to admit i love the car. wich can be danjurus. first thing i do after buying is put in repair shop to fix the ac to run r134a. then to the tire shop for new rims to replace the rusty craigers and new rubber.

but i am debating if i should get a used cop car. beaten hard but maintained pluss easyer to fide parts for found a slution to make it look more fun too. by having a 1998-2007 Ford Crown Victoria Duraflex GT Concept Body Kit by Extreme Dimensions.

so pros vers cons. cop car modern and easy to get parts for but found out it will be prone to a lot more ware and tear carring a 500 pound lift and wheelchair. aka saging rear end stressing on the springs.

as for the gallaixe its old n hard to get parts for. like i would have to go to a metel fab shop to have a tow hich maid so i can cary my wheelchair but the springs are alot biger on that car so can handel the wheight beter.

If I remember right Bluewind and I had this discussion with you before. That decision is all yours. It all depends on what you want and have to do to make it fit your needs. As I stated before in the other posts or threads, it might be better for you to buy a E-150 and have a lift installed for your wheel chair. then you won't have the trouble of over loading the rear springs. But you want a ragtop older car and have a platform for the chair you could always put over loads or extra springs installed to keep the rear of the car from riding on its rear axles and lifting the front end up making it look level instead of it looking like a lowrider
