Default Front Brakes

I bought a set of front drums c/w hubs for my 1970 Galaxie on eBay, mostly for the hubs, but it turns out they were 11" x 3" instead of the standard 11" x 2.5" that the car is equipped with. I am now wondering what I need to do to change out the existing drums to utilize these larger drums. The drum profile is such that they fit without modification, I can get shoes and hardware for the larger drums, but the shoes won't line up with the old wheel cylinders. Does anyone know if there is a different wheel cylinder (part no. please) for this application, or is it a different backing plate, or perhaps a spacer plate behind the wheel cylinder to bring it out to the new shoe centerline? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Default RE: Front Brakes

Check shoe arc between shoe sets - different arc - likely different backing plate and wheel cylinders. I wonder - is the larger set a police version?
