Post Solid or hydraulic lifters???

I'm new to the forum and wanted to say hi. I'm also the new owner (so to speak) of a '65 Galaxie 500 convertible. The original motor was a 289, but I was told that it now has a 390 out of a '69 Mustang. I believe that '69 390s could either have solid or hydraulic lifters. If that's correct, how can I tell (casting numbers, etc.) what type of lifters are in this motor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

if casting # end z its mustang.. take a valve cover off. With the palm of your hand try to push down 'HARD' on rocker if you cant it prob solid lifter. I owned a 390 h.p it was NOT solid lifter.
