Hzve a 64 Ranchero with a 289 and 3speed manual. Will the existing bell housing work with a B&W T10 4 speed? Only housing Jegs lists is Lakewood scattershield for $488.

 

It probably would fit, assuming that is a Ford T10. Early Toploader would probably fit as well. Does that Jegs bellhousing have 5 bolt motor end pattern, or is the 289 motor a 1965 or newer with 6 bolt motor end pattern for bellhousing.
