I am considering taking a drive to look at a 79 bronco thats for sale pretty cheap. I'm just wondering if the 79 was still a solid axle in the front or if it was the ttb?

78-79 wason the F-150 chassis.. Front axle was rigid.. 80 was the first year for the twin beam independent ...

Cool. Thats what i was hoping for. I have a 91 F-150 and so far not too happy with the frontend or the cost of lifting it.
