Default 88 bronco II dies when it's hot out

first off hi all. first post here.
second......HELP! i am about at my wits end with my 88 bronco II 2.9, 2x4, auto, cal emissions.
whats going on is it starts and runs great untill the temp outside hits 95 or more. then it runs fine for about 20-30 min, then sputters and dies. it wont stars back up again untill it has sat for about two hours.
so far i have replaced the high pressure fuel pump, (not the in tank pump)tfi module, distributor pick up, map sensor, fuel pump and ecc relays, and by-passed the inertia switch. when it acts up i have spark at the coil and plugs, 12v to the injectors as well as paulse, power to the pumps, all the right signals into and out of the pump and ecc relays. if i shoot carb cleaner into the intake it will fire for a few seconds as it should but wont stay running. the only thing i cant check on the roadside is fuel pressure, but i do get fuel and a bit of air out of the fuel test port.
any advice would be great!
thanks

Usually fuel pressure is set high enough to prevent vapor lock.
Suspect in tank fuel pump . Hi press pump can't pump fuel that it isn't getting.
Need to confirm fuel pressure .

so after all this it was the 1" hose that connects the low psi pump to the sender. i dropped the tank and found the hose was split in two. $1.75 later and she is all better.
