89 Ford Bronco xlt what runs the injection? distributor or computer

I'll buy both if need be, but I'd like to know what runs the fuel injectors so I can get this truck back on the road

Both are required.
If you could be more specific as to what problem the vehicle has , maybe we could offer some suggestions that might save you some time, money and work.
