Help me out folks! I have a Ford Contour 1995. It runs great but when I crank it to get out of my garage and put it in reverse it stalls. If I put it in neutral or park it cranks right back up no problem. Again if I put it in reverse it stalls. i can give it more power and it will back up. The check engine light is on and states...lock up solonoid module. Is this causing my problem or the neutral safety switch or what?

 

if the torque convertor clutch is locked on, it will stall everytime it is put in any drive gear.
post the actual code and maybe someone here can help diagnose the problem.
