Broke the serpentine belt on a 1996 contour 2.ol 16valve dohc engine.
If i just put a new belt on it should it be ok?Or could something else have messed up?
The car has been sitting for 3months and i want it out of my way.Either by fixing it and sellin it or selling it as a parts car.

 

I used to own a 98 2.0 and put two belts oin mine. The belts were only like $20. I would put 'em and drive away.

 

Shes a no go.She wont start.\
She almost fires up but doesnt.
What could it be? Its getting gas and spark.
Timing seems to be in order
