Hey I just bought my car and when im driving him its very nice. but the temperature is in normal range but very high up to the red zone. the line is always at A or L in NORMAL..

Can anyone tell me what you think?
is this ok??

ps the weather here is cold so i dont understand this!

my car is Ford Contour GL 2.0 1996

 

Not to worry! I have owned two contours and both have operated with the temp indicator typically at the "A" in the word normal. I have had the shop infrared test the radiator when it is indicating like this and the temp is at the desired operating temperature.
