I've got a 1995 Crown Vic with 85,000 + miles on it. Runs fine, when it runs. For about 4 months now, it's been giving me problems. Sometimes it'll crank and start just fine. Other times (intermittently) it'll crank but won't start. It acts like a bad ignition switch used to do. However, if I let it sit for an hour or two, and try it again, it'll fire right up. I've replaced the switch and it ran fine for a week or so, but now it's doing it again. Don't think it was the switch.....
Anyone got any ideas or had this problem?

Mine has the same thing. I am leaning towards the PATS system.

 

gnorton52 did you fix the problem what was it .... im at the same old problem as you 95 crown vic 140,000 miles

my 94 that i had did that and come find out gas was runing back the lines to the tank. line was seeping gas at the tank
