When traveling at low speed (35-45) sometimes I feel the car purging, usually not real bad; but occasionally a distinctive jerking occurs; when I speed up it quits. Recently, the battery light blinks on very fast. This blinking does not last long, maybe 30 seconds or so, then quits. The car has 117K on the clock. We had the 100K services recommended by Ford done and we replaced the fuel pump and cap recently. This Crown Vic has been well cared for and no where near worn out.

Any help/advice would be appreciated.
