Default How to remove AC clutch coil on a 1999 P71 Crown Vic

Forgive me if I failed to properly search and this is covered elsewhere (I did search! )

I have a 99 Crown vic (P71), the AC clutch is bad from excessive idle while it was in active service. Picked up a clutch replacement set for it, and rented the "proper" tools (which were of no help at all...) The hub/pulley/bearing assembly came off relatively easily once I got the *bleeping* snap ring out and after some spray on derust/bolt lube. However, the coil is on quite solidly, as far as I can tell it does not use a snap ring so I am guessing it is friction-fit. However the rented toolset does not have anything it it that would be able to help. I'd leave the coil on but it is slightly the wrong size for the new hub assembly.

We use a thin chisel and tap it around the perimeter of the coil. Just take your time and it will come off. Ford's manual says to use a 2 jaw outside puller.
