Default 2004 Crown Victoria Police Intercepter

Hi,
My Crown Victoria runs fine. Every once in awhile after driving somewhere it won't start, I wait 15-20 minutes and it starts! The Battery is good, Starter Replaced about a year ago. only drive about 30-40 Miles per week. I was told it may be a Starter Relay switch? Can anyone help me with this? Its strange for 2 Months I don't have a problem, last week I ran to the Store came out and bingo, Had to wait 20 Minutes for car to start. Car doesn't run hot, Battery charging fine.
Thanks,
Frank FGENT1110@aol.com

Welcome the site..

So we're all on the same page,, it won't 'crank' over? Or it won't start?

It definitely sounds like an issue with the starter, I had a Camaro that did the exact same thing and it was always the starter. I put a larger engine in the vehicle and the heat was too much for the starter which caused it to fail. Did you buy a Ford/Motorcraft starter or an aftermarket?
