Hello, I have a 1994 ford crown vic lx, it has 164k miles, bought it a few weeks ago, it was neglected to say the least, so my boyfriend in a moment of duh decided to take the hose and "detail the engine", just spraying it with med pressure and ever since it wants to stumble, was stalling out right after starting it,the CEL hasnt come on at all, but we went ahead replaced the spark plugs ( they were caked both ends with mud it was terrible,), did not help, so I did some research and though it could be the DPFE, and bought a new one, I know its design is slightly different than original, but can't find it on the engine at all, so we jumped to the IAC, cleaned it improved slightly, but after starting it a few times was right back to the same sumble, splutter, almost sounds like a misfire , so just bought new IAC put it on and no change, but when they put the new IAC on they somehow disconnected a L shaped hose coming off the back of the intake, so if anyone knows where about the L shaped hose is supposed to go would be tremendoulsy appreciated. I understand the MAF is a possibility, so if there's anything else I could look into as the reason for the running like crap problem I could use any advice. please forgive me I am not mechanically inclined at all, am just learning about how all this works the past year or two so I may not be the best at details or terminology so please bear with my ignorance and any help or advice is greatly appreciated and if anyone has a diagram of the Vaccum lines for a 94 crown vic I sure could use it, thank you so much any help is greatly needed thanks
