i have a 97 vic 4.6 that will not idle. if igive it a little gas it runs fine if i give it more gas she sounds great. i'm verry confused w/ the possible reasons for this please help.

 

try cleaning the Idle Air control valve , an if you have a maf mass air flow sensor , try cleaning it with a shot of carb cleaner ,

also could be a intake vacumm leak , but I would try the IAc valve first , probaly wouldnt hurt to flush the fuel injectors as well
