Check my signature below.
Crank no start or no crank no start.
Have you tried to jump start it?

There are a lot of good folks here that usually can offer useful suggestions, but we need as much info as you can provide.

There could be fuel related problems or electrical and we need more info so we can offer useful help.

As heiko stated, we need to know just what is it doing.
When you turn the key to start, what does it do ? Just clicks, cranks over, but does not start running ? They might seem like little things, but are very important to a technician. Each place in a line of symptoms may require a different approach, hope you understand.

I have plenty of power, battery and alternator are good. When I turn the key there is nothing. And this doesn't happen all the time it has been random. I did change out the starter relay yesterday and so far it has started each time I've driven it (only 4 times)

If that solved the problem, great.

An interesting thing to try would be to install the relay you replaced and see if the problem comes back. If it does , the relay is faulty. If it doesn't come back, it could have been a poor connection at the relay panel , and that could come back when you least want another problem..

Default It continues

So when it is warmer out, she doesn't like to start. She is not hot it's just the outside temperature , so I have to unhook the battery for about 10 min and then she will start. I don't understand

When you disconnect the battery, you cause the electronics in the vehicle computer to reset.

Can you provide some addl info as to just what it does. There things we need to know.
When you go to start the engine, what does it do, nothing, just clicks, or cranks over , but will not start running ?

Nobody knows what car you drive, a Ford I guess, Crown VIC? Maybe. What else, who knows? Check my signature below again.
Do you have a DMM (digital multimeter)?
All I can say it doesn't start (no crank no start) more frequently in hot weather than cold weather it's the starter solenoid (the one attaches to the starter motor). Normally it's more wise to buy a new starter which should come with the solenoid already.

Heiko
if you read my original post you would know my car is a crown victoria, also it does not do anything when i turn the key when it doesn't start. It has happened when it is warmer outside for no rhyme or reason. It can be sitting for hours and so far resetting the computer has worked which is not convenient however I know how to do that to get her going. I am willing to change out the starter selinoid if that may be the problem

This is our 4th times (3 from me 1 from hanky) we are asking for your vehicle info. What year?
Every year is not a carry-over from the previous year. Even within a particular year, there can be different engine, and the info may vary.

Look at the pic above, you don't tell us the model year I can't even click the OK button. That's why I repeatedly told you to read my signature shown below.
Starter solenoid is bad? Only my blind guess based on no crank no start when warm.
If your Crown VIC is up to 2007 I have full repair manual shown above awaiting for you.
