Default Starting issue

I just finished swapping out the motor. I went ahead and did the timing chains while I had it out among a few other common problems and put it all back together. I am chasing down a few check engine light codes for the system running lean but it idles great. Fast forward a bit and if you let the car idle it eventually will die with no warning. And then will not start back. Rapid clicks acting like a starting issue. But if I wait a couple hours. Mind you without charging or touching it. It will start back up just fine. Battery under a load test measured 10.4 and at idle charging with no accessories on at 14.1 if anyone has any ideas for where to start so I'm not throwing money at the problem.
