Default Rear Windshield Defroster

Great Forum!

As you can see from the photograph, there has been a separation between the wiring where it meets the rear window defroster. Is there any electrically conduction glue that can be used? Fortunately it's a very clean separation. I'm open to any other recommendations for fixing this.

Thank you!

Lyman

Welcome to the site..

Yes, there is a conductive silver epoxy type adhesive available.. Some of the higher end electronics supply houses will have it.. It’s available on sites like Amazon as well..

Thank you for the quick response! Any brand names come to mind? Will buy from Amazon.

Again, thanks for the fast reply!

Best,

Lyman

Not really.

Just as long as it’s a conductive type. There are different types, I’ve used the conductive silver epoxy, tough bond, but even Permatex sells a defogger tab adhesive. You might check with your auto parts supplier. Never used Permatex thou..
