Default '02 E150 4.6 surge/misfire

Hello, I am working on the above vehicle, and I seem to be at a dead end. It seems to surge or buck when easily accelerating while driving. If you floor it, it runs good. Also runs good at idle. Scanned for codes- none stored. I replaced the spark plugs at my friend's request, with no change. With all the reading I've done about the EGR pressure sensor, I put one of those on as well. I used Motorcraft plugs and a Ford sensor. I took apart the throttle body and all that to check the EGR ports, which were clean. My next guess would be a fuel injection flush, which i am going to do tomorrow. After doing a little more reading today, I am going to check and see what the TPS data says while driving. At this point, I'm out of ideas, and have put a little thought into the idea that it may be the transmission. The fluid isn't burnt and it is full.

Any help for a GM guy here trying to help a friend out?
Thanks

Could one of your coils causing the issue. Easiest way to check them is to stress test them with the special tool though.

I'm having very similar issues with the bucking while driving and easy gas pedal pressure applied. Have you fixed yours yet??
