been noticing in morning when I start it up it smokes but it smells like burnt smoke.then it goes away dont smoke all day but i can smell that the oil is burning.lately I also been burning more oil than usual.also really weird when backing into my parking bay at end of day it lets out some burnt smoke also .also feels like the motor is laboring allot on the highway and putting more gas than usual.sorry for the run on sentences just want to list everything.is it time to trade her in?

 

What engine is in the truck, how many miles? Some maintenance history?

 

5.4 truck has 82,000 miles,normal maintenance history reg oil changes and stuff nothing major.

 

It's past time for plugs (motorcraft) air filter , pcv valve and you may have an oil leak
somewhere on the engine. That mileage has the engine just broken in. Surprised you haven't had to have some coils changed. Common problem.
