After recently replacing the body mount bushings on my 1985 E150 (138" wheelbase) and having issues finding aftermarket support I thought I'd post this article in case anyone else out there is in the same boat. With my E150 being a 138" wheelbase I had 12 body mount bushings to replace. I had many that were worn out due to my van having a very heavy wheelchair lift installed for about 30yrs on the passenger side that wore out the springs and body mounts. I wasn't able to find a body mount bushing kit for my application but with a little trial and error I found some that worked. Here is what I ended up going with:

For the top mounts I purchased a kit from Bronco Graveyard for a 1980-1996 full size Bronco (part # 4.4109G, it's an Energy Suspensions polyurethane kit. Bronco Graveyard's item # for the kit is 33090) and used bushing # 4031. Bushing # 4071 can also be used if you trim of the material around the metal sleeve where it sits in the frame. I chose to use all 4031 bushings and it worked out fine. Something to note is the Bronco kit only comes with 6 of these bushings so I had to purchase 2 kits just to get the required # of top bushings. A few other things to note when preparing to take on this job, get yourself a good set of long punches. The ones I purchased were 8 inches long and worked out well. Also, you will want to have a telescoping pen-style magnet.

Now for the bottom bushings. I ended up using bottom bushings from a Prothane kit part # 6-105-BL (Ford Body Mount 4wd F100-350 1966-1979). The lower body mount bushings I used from the kit are bushing # 68021. Unfortunately, the kit only includes 2 of the bushings #68021 so I had to purchase 6 kits to get the 12 required lower body mounts When you go to separate the body mounts, the easiest way I found was to screw a short bolt into the bottom mount and then hammer the puppies apart with a punch and sledge hammer.

Upper body mount. Part #4071. Note, if you use this top mount you must trim the material around the metal sleeve so it sits in the frame correctly. I used top mount #4031.

This is the telescoping pen-style magnet I used. Mainly was needed on the two front most body mounts.
