this cap just spins
I just bought a 1986 crossman RV and pulled the cowling. I found a what appears to be vacuum hose just laying unattached at one end. It has a yellow stripe, is routed on the passenger side of the carb and stops behind the carb. looks like it would fit nicely on the back of the air filter or back of the carb but I can't see an open tube to plug it in to. ANY help???

Also see a fitting of some sort on the passenger side of the tranny, at the top in the rear of it that pretty much spins. It looks like there is a crimped on cap of some sort. Determining what this is for would be nice too.
