Default Where does this go??

Hello I have a 2004 ford escape limited 4x4

Recently my battery indicator light has been flashing randomly. While this is happening I can feel that there is less power. If my headlights are on they dim for a second while this goes on. That being said, I can hear a hissing under the hood and have found a rubber line that is unattached.

Can you tell me where this goes?

I have a 09 so don't know. Looks like whatever hose it is it has a hold down plate that is held on by a bolt that fell out

If there is vacuum from it when engine is running, plug it until you find out where it goes

If the hose is coming up from the bottom of motor/car you likely need to get underneath it to see where it might go. The hose can only reach as far as it length so moving it around should lead to where it goes.

it looks to me like it goes under battery box, do you see that coresponding plate under battery with same size hole in it? Is that battery box drain hose? Ohh never mind the plate i was seeing is the battery tie down bracket. But still that hose looks full of dirt, like a drain tube
