1995 E350 Will not Start
I have a 95 E350 that died the other night...towed it home and replaced the fuel filter and it started right up. I let it run for about a 20 minutes. Shut it off and it would not start again.
The check engine light is on and I removed the fuel filter again and it seems be little to no fuel. I cannot hear the fuel pump running......Is this a bad fuel pump. When I start the engine it sounds healthy turning over. Where should i start or should i drop the tank....if i do drop the tank looks like at he bottom there is drain? Am i correct about the drain.
Thanks for any help I may get.

As a first step...
When the key is cycled to 'on' or the starter is 'bumped' do you hear the fuel relay click off after a few seconds of key on time?..The run times are PCM controlled, but the pump and relay are powered/commanded 'on' for a few seconds to build fuel pressure.. Weather the pump is bad or not, the relay in most cases can/should be heard.. If the relay proves out, and if you don't hear the pump run, try cycling the key to on, then give the bottom of the tank a moderate bump and see if the pump starts.. If you hear no relay sound, try replacing the fuel relay with the ABS relay.. It very well could be the fuel pump, but you 'should' be able to hear the relay cycle off..

You should hear not only the fuel pump relay, but the PCM power relay when the key is cycled on.. You might have someone cycle the key for you, and listen at the engine compartment fuse panel for relay function/s.. Especially the PCM relay, as power feed to the fuel relay is through a 'closed' energized PCM relay..
If you dont have a manual I would get one.A wiring diagram is a huge help.
One thing you can do if you have an extra battery or a jumper box is to unhook the fuel pump at the tank and supply the pump with 12v directly.Be very careful as to not short the pump out and ruin it but if it comes on you will know it's good,or vise versa. It would be better to do this at the relay if you can.
How full is the tank?

ok......i had someone cycle the key while i listed (i actually put my finger on the relay) it was clicking. then i got under to listen to the tank and nothing....I have an extra battery where on the relay do would i stick the wires? There are five holes where the relay came out of.....should i use two wires.....sorry for not being 2 schooled on this...ohhh i do have a manual...thanks again for the help.
